Here at Marsh Farm Flowers we focus on environmentally-friendly farming methods to grow beautiful, seasonal cut flowers and this starts from the very first seed.

We use peat-free growing medium (compost) to grow our flowers, natural fertilisers such as nettle, comfrey and seaweed, and do not use pesticides, instead choosing to use companion planting to ward off those insects seen as pests.

We work with mother nature, learning from her with each year we grow. We continue to trial different methods of growing, honing our skills and finding out what works best in our climate and soil.

Our flower season at the moment runs from April - September and as we grow as a business, the more we will be able to extend our flowering season.

So when and how can you buy flowers from us?

On Fridays between April and September you will find our flower cart out on Marsh Lane in Crowton, Cheshire, offering small mixed bunches of freshly picked seasonal blooms.

No week is the same, with scented Daffodils and Narcissi kicking off the season in early spring, a plethora of different flowers in summer and the early autumn colours of stunning dahlias.

We offer 3 sizes of gift bouquets for those occasions that warrant celebration, or commiseration.

We work with couples to create individual floral arrangements for their wedding celebrations as well as other event flowers such as birthdays and baby showers - plus any other event worth celebrating!

We offer funeral and sympathy flowers, working with clients to create a floral tribute that is truly personal.

We do not use floral foam or floral preservative in our floristry, choosing to use more environmentally friendly mechanics to create arrangements. Most of our arrangements are fully compostable and any gift-wrapping is recylcable.

We re-use and recycle where possible, ensuring we have explored second-hand options before purchasing new.
